Face Time: Up Close and Personal with Rachael Kirkconnell

The most rewarding rituals are rooted in authenticity.

No matter who we are, where we live or how we spend our days, we all share something in common — the sense of empowerment we find when we feel confident in our skin. At Skin Pharm, we get to witness this daily — and we’re sharing those stories with you through Face Time, a Q&A series that celebrates and elevates members of our community!

Whether she’s partnering with a favorite brand, drinking her electrolytes or spending quality time with friends and family, Rachael Kirkconnell knows that the best routines make you feel like yourself. We caught up with the reality TV star and content creator to talk skin care, self-care and living authentically.

How long have you been coming to Skin Pharm?

I’ve been coming to Skin Pharm Alpharetta for a little over a year now. I started coming in March of 2024 and have been loving every second of it!

Tell us more — which treatment has made the biggest impact on your skin?

I’ve been doing both Gold Infusions and PRP injections. The PRP injections have made the biggest impact on my skin. I had really bad under-eyes, dark circles and hollowness and have seen such an improvement in that. I’m looking forward to starting PRP gel treatments next!

Which products can’t you live without?

I definitely love Gentle Rinse as an everyday cleanser and Power Wash when I need a good exfoliating cleanse, but my favorite product would have to be the Crystal Clear clarifying pads. My skin loves salicylic acid. I throw them in my purse — they’re great to use after the gym or when I’m traveling to get that really good, clean feeling on my face.

What does self-care look like for you?

To me, self-care means being intentional about taking extra time for myself — doing those extra steps in my skin care routine, using my red light therapy mask, reading a book or watching a show.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Be authentic and as much yourself as you can be. Try not to live by other people’s standards or strive to be who they want or expect you to be. Instead, look inward and just be yourself.

What do you love most about living in Alpharetta?

I love the location! I’m super close to Atlanta, but I’m also only 20 minutes from my family and 10 minutes from my friends. I have a really good community here, and everything I need is right down the road.

What’s the wellness hack or habit you swear by?

I’m all about drinking your skin care. I make sure I’m getting my water. I love drinking electrolytes, hyaluronic acid and collagen. It makes me feel better — like I’m glowing from the inside. The same goes for ginger, turmeric and lemon. I really believe that taking in your skin care is just as important as using topicals.
